Mizuno has entered the chat
We're pleased to announce that the maestros from Japan, Mizuno, are now stocked at Tower! We're quite selective with who joins our Brand Family, but as fans of trainers (sneakers) and especially Retro Runners, we're happy to welcome Mizuno to Tower. You can now find both the RB87 and the Contender, both in-store and online, but let's take a dive into our first two silhouettes.
First up, the RB87. This 80's inspired trainer offers a simple ode to yesteryear but comes with a modern polish up in the form of a split-sole that overhangs to the rear, reminiscent of certain Sacai renditions from another brand. The shoes come dressed up in the timeless combo of premium suede, mesh, and leather, finished off with additional hits of branding at the heel and toe.
The City Wind Premium is an elevated take on the 1990 City Wind tennis model, updated with the finest materials while still opting for a clean neutral palette. Another throwback to its court heritage, the trainer comes in a mix of leather and suede and features gold detailing adorning the heel.
Closing out, we have a classic Mizuno silhouette, the Contender. Originally launched in 1995, the Contender has been seen across multiple brand collaborations and has been well received by footwear fanatics, as the shoe's paneling lends itself well to a multitude of colorways and material makeups. We've landed a beautiful Khaki version here at Tower, perfect for that summer weather that'll soon be upon us!
